Feeling Stuck? You're an astronaut, Harry!

If you ever feel stuck, remember to ask yourself, compared to what? All speeds are relative. And if you think about earth for a bit, and have a little interest in science fiction stories, you will realize how lucky you truly are.

Think about it for a while. You are on earth. Compared to the poles, if you are near the equator, you are moving at a speed of 1,000 miles per hour. Compared to the sun, your speed is 67,000 miles per hour. If you take the center of our milky-way galaxy as reference, your speed 490,000 miles per hour.

In a way, you are sitting on a spaceship. A very advanced spaceship, that supports diverse lifeforms, creating food and life on it's journey, and it is speeding through space in an unimaginable speed.

You're an astronaut. Just feeling a bit stuck. That's alright. Try and see the view outside the window. Remember how fast you are going. And if you are still feeling stuck, remember that if you take even the smallest step in the right direction, you are faster than the earth.

You're an astronaut, Harry!
