Once upon a time, there was a boy named Ide, who suffered a lot from migraines. He was part of a special team of imaginators, a scattered group of seven gifted youth who could shift reality without being consciously aware of it. Together they formed a chain that held onto the world, the most persistent illusion. Without them, you see, the world kept disappearing and reappearing every second in a very different arrangement, leading to all sorts of inconsistencies. The playing field you saw every day on your way to work would turn into a fully fledged shopping centre overnight. The all-powerful dictator you knew would be there forever — would wake up and just flee everything, catching everyone by surprise. No rhyme or reason could justify the sudden shifts of this momentum, unless you knew the inner mechanics of things.
In actuality, in this version of the universe, reality was held together as a form of shared manifestation. Manifestations - the process where thoughts, dreams, and images in your head can bend external reality. The more energy a single version of an image got, the clearer and more likely to be real it became. The energy enhanced when multiple images overlapped. However, not everyone shared the same capacity to induce a reality. Our seven gifted imaginators, unwittingly, swayed the reality much more than anyone else. One day, the moon landing is real, the next day, the Earth is flat, all it took was for a few of the gifted ones to be scrolling on to the whacky corner of social media.
And the elites knew about this, but without knowing where the pressure points lay, the only thing they could do was unleash a mass campaign to reach all youth everywhere. Fill all the workforce, cult, or campaign with as many youth as possible. It was especially effective if they could make the youth sweat for someone else’s mission, as nothing solidified overlapping energy more than sweat and sacrifices on the path someone else planned for the gifted ones to take.
We find one of our imaginators, Ide, caught up in the whirlwind, toiling away, bringing someone else’s image into being every second of the day. He walked, talked, woke up, and went to bed with a singular vision of the world for a mid-sized event management company. A world where he was supposed to keep working at one tiny corner, refining another copy, fixing some line indentations, revising some printing errors, over and over again. Everything at the workplace became second nature to him. As he worked on the micro 100 hours a week, his head was filled with dreams about the whole world on the macro during the rest of the hours.
Ide thought his life was just a barrage of mistakes, a deluge of bad luck, and a few lucky encounters. Often suffering from a horrible migraine, hot menthol steam was his only refuge. Never did he realise that this migraine was simply the world being rendered in real time inside his head, as it synced with the other six gifted ones around the world once every week. He had no clue how greatly his convictions about the world, economics, politics, and the afterlife even, sent shockwaves and reorganised the life of billions continuously.
Ide continued to suffer from the migraine until the age of 27, when silently the mantle of imagination was passed on to another young person, leaving no trace of it in the process. He felt lighter, happy to be no longer needing the menthol, as his world felt calmer.
