The best things in life are often unplanned. Such is the life of a plant. It starts someplace, somehow, and blossoms into being. A being it is, continues to flourish through the ebb and flow of the weather. A flourishing plant, you see hiding beneath a rock, or by the side of a wall, or on a forgotten sun shade.
It takes its time to become something. Step by step. Eventually. You do not see it at first. But the whole plan was always there with the seed. Something was waiting beyond visibility.
Such is the reality in life also. You see someone somewhere, but you have no clue where they are headed. You have to wait and see to figure it out. You wait, ground your ears, and suddenly a symphony awakens you to its presence. A tune that says I am here and look at me. I am not to be stopped. A rhythm that demands you pay attention or step aside, because the drums are going to beat on, with you or despite you.
A plant, we started to talk about. A plant, was it not? We have gone a little off-track. But now I am here in front of you. You shine on me and I shine on you. Take love. Be more like a plant. Flourish when no one else might have hoped that you would.
