Biggest takeaway from 2021.
"It takes a village to raise a child." (African Proverb)
Well it certainly took a village to pull me through 2021. A year marked by one blow after another, with nights spent shivering in fear and days spent lying motionless, I had my doubts about making it to 2022.
When I look back today, however, I see that I fought the good fight, accepted the losses and discovered new treasures, ending the year with a semblance of balance, and an air of wholesomeness in life.
I am alive thanks to all of you. And I keep carrying on, for you, with you. Hopefully, enhancing the good in the world—one conversation at a time. Stay blessed. May you have a wonderful year ahead.

When I look back today, however, I see that I fought the good fight, accepted the losses and discovered new treasures, ending the year with a semblance of balance, and an air of wholesomeness in life.
I certainly did not do it alone. It took a village, people near and far, who lent an ear, an hour, a voice, a shoulder for me. My family, friends, more-than-friends, lovers, brothers, sisters, colleagues, doctors—all had their role to play in me getting back up on my feet.
