Alternate Universe Series. Post 7. তুই বললে।

In this version of the universe, the realm of Gods and the realm of mortals are separated only by a thin yet persistent veil in front of the mortal eyes. Most mortals could only wonder about the other realm based on the not-so-dependable glimpses some of their lucky ones got.

A boy from this mortal realm fell in love with a Goddess without ever intending to. After suffering through 150 feverish days and 15 sleepless nights, one day the veil in front of the boy's eyes swept away. The goddess, born out of a confluence of pure powers, was gliding along. She had the power over the passing of time, movement of clouds, and even the stability of land. Her aura overflowed with kindness and the stream touched the boy's toes. He thought he could see a faint smile at the corner of her lips, as if a bit amused at the boy's bewilderment.

The boy felt like his whole body became as sensitive to every portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, as his eyes were to natural lights. He was breathing the whole surrounding— in and out. The grace and the poise that puts mountains to shame. The beauty that felt most pure. The fragrance that felt like childhood memory.

Shivering from head to toe, he did not know if he was alive, dead, dreaming, or hallucinating. "At least now I know what love might feel like," he murmured.

After the fevers finally came down, the veil returned to his eyes, but it could not take away the new tune from the boy's lips: তুই বললে।

তুই বললে কথা শীতের রোদহীন দুপুর
রোদ জ্যোৎস্নায় মেখে রুপো হয়ে যেতো, হয়ে যেতো
তুই বললে কথা অমাবস্যা রাতও
আকাশের কালো চিরে আলো জ্বেলে দিতো, জ্বেলে দিতো।
