Hi, I am Radi Shafiq. And this blog is sort of my public notebook, my organized ramblings.
I started this blog in 2011, as a way of dealing with a very transitional phase in my life. I was in a place where everything I held to be the basis of reality seemed to be crumbling down all around me.
Writing gave me some sanity, it was an outlet, it helped me organize my thoughts. And now today as I update this about page, after 9 years of writing here, somewhat irregularly- I think it has been one of the best decisions in my life.
So I have no intention of stopping this. I will keep posting, even if only a few posts every year - it is still a good overview of my mind - to have in place and look back at.

... seriously though, I basically write whatever I feel like writing in this blog. I am not looking for a large audience or income via advertisements. I think of this blog as a notebook that will not get lost ever (hopefully).
